In Taiwan’s evolving education landscape, developing students’ real-world English communication skills has become a top priority. Since 2021, TutorABC has partnered with Jinling Girls’ Senior High School, a prestigious private institution in New Taipei City, to implement a large-scale, technology-driven English speaking program that has reshaped how language education is delivered.
This initiative began as a pilot project for 90 students in Jinling’s gifted language program. Today, it serves 270 students across grades 7 to 12, with more than 3,000 live speaking sessions conducted every semester. Each student participates in a 45-minute small-group (1:4) speaking session once per week, led by certified native-speaking teachers through TutorABC’s online platform. The program is seamlessly integrated into the school’s evening self-study schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to the academic calendar.
TutorABC provides a full-service model including:
This level of support ensures that both student and institutional needs are continuously met, allowing the program to scale efficiently without compromising quality.
The outcomes speak for themselves:
Student Testimonial
“I used to avoid speaking English because I felt nervous and embarrassed. After two years of learning with TutorABC, I had the confidence to help a foreigner with directions—completely in English. I never thought I could do that before.”
— Third-Year Student, Jinling Girls’ Senior High School
Teacher Testimonial
“The improvement in our students’ spoken English is obvious. More importantly, they are no longer afraid to speak. TutorABC’s structured materials and consistent instructional quality have made it easy for us to implement this program. I now recommend it to all our new students and parents.”
— English Curriculum Director, Jinling Girls’ Senior High School
These real-world improvements in confidence and fluency demonstrate the long-term value of building communicative competence, not just academic test performance.
Following Jinling’s success, TutorABC has expanded this program to additional schools, including Sacred Heart Girls’ High School, SungKwang High School, Yimin High School, and Shiyu High School, collectively serving over 1,500 students to date.
The deployment model is designed for scalability:
TutorABC’s commitment to ongoing system upgrades, personalized content, and hands-on support ensures that the program can continue delivering results across different institutions and student populations.
Schools report higher enrollment rates by highlighting their partnership with TutorABC as a key feature of their admissions strategy. Students, in turn, benefit from long-term improvements in international communication skills, academic performance, and confidence when using English in real-world settings.
By combining advanced technology, live instruction, and school-integrated scheduling, TutorABC is setting a new standard for English education in Taiwan’s K–12 sector.
