At TutorABC, we prioritize maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all participants, which includes a zero-tolerance policy towards offensive or derogatory language.
As outlined in our Terms of Use, students are expected to refrain from engaging in any behavior that is vulgar, abusive, harassing, or otherwise disrespectful.
If you encounter offensive language during a group class, you have several options for addressing the issue:
Block Messages: You can block messages from the offending student in the chatbox by right-clicking on one of their messages and selecting the option to block further messages from them.
Report Feedback: During the session, you can click on the Settings button (gear icon) and select "Give Feedback" to report the issue directly.
After-Class Evaluation: Following the session, you can provide feedback through the after-class evaluation feature in the Learning Center. This allows you to rate the session and provide comments regarding any negative experiences, including offensive language.
Once the session is finished, you can also use the after-class evaluation in the Learning Center to give a low rating to a particular student. This will prompt our AI-Matching system to exclude this classmate from your future sessions.
