Hercules had no choice but to fight the lion with his bare hands.

海克力士只好赤手空拳和獅子搏鬥。

最後海克力士拼命扼住獅子的喉部，終於使牠窒息而死。

海克力士將獅子的皮毛剝下，做成保護身體的鎧甲，一直穿了一生，而宙斯為了紀念海克力士這件英勇的事蹟，就把獅子送到天上成為獅子星座。
