In Greek (1)mythology, there was a highly (2)renowned hero.

The hero was Zeus’ son, Hercules.

他就是宙斯之子海克力士。

Hercules was a man of unusual (3)strength and completed twelve difficult (4)tasks in his life, one of which was killing the Hydra near Argos.

海克力士是個大力士，一生中曾經完成十二項艱巨的任務，其中之一是斬殺在阿哥斯城附近一隻名叫海德拉的九頭妖蛇。

While he was (5)battling against this nine-headed snake monster, out of a (6)gap in the rocks came a (7)gigantic crab. It (8)gripped one of Hercules’ feet with its powerful (9)pincer to help the monster.
