President Chain Store Corp’s 7-Eleven convenience store chain launched new private workspaces for rent at one of its branches in late May. These spaces are located in the 7-Eleven Ching Hang branch in Taoyuan, catering to people’s need to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are 14 units available in total, all equipped with Wi-Fi, a desk, and outlets for charging personal electronic devices.
These compartments are for the use of one, two, and four persons at the rate of NT$100, NT$180, and NT$300 per hour, respectively. Users may pay the rent via a self-service screen.
