Taiwan Leads the Global Bicycle Industry台灣自行車 世界第一！

Which country has the biggest bicycle industry in the world? The answer is Taiwan.  According to Business Weekly, Taiwan’s bicycle industry shines more brightly in the “electric era.” 63% of electric bikes currently on the European market were manufactured in Taiwan.

Taiwan has been known as the “bicycle kingdom” since it was ranked the largest exporter of high-end bicycles and the second largest of overall bicycle products in 2016.

As the world expects to have a long-term demand for electric bikes, some Taiwanese economists stressed that the country must retain competitiveness by improving its technical innovation and domestic supply chain.
