A recent survey by online job bank yes123 found that nearly 90% of working moms struggle to find a balance between job and family. Most of them are under economic pressure. On average, working mothers work 10.6 hours per day, while they only spend 105 minutes a day with their children, which makes them feel guilty. Taiwanese working mothers are expected to support the family financially, excel at work, raise kids, and sometimes even take care of the elders in the family.
