史上第一則簡訊用 NFT 形式以將近 340 萬台幣在拍賣中高價售出 The world’s first SMS sold as NFT for nearly 3,400,000 TWD

　
In 1992, the first text message in history was transmitted by an engineer to his colleague in the UK’s Vodafone  which read “Merry Christmas.”Recently, an unnamed buyer won the bid and bought the text at the price of €107,000 (more than 3,300,000 TWD) at an auction held in Paris.

It was sold in the form of a non-fungible token, usually known as an NFT. NFTs are digital assets that can be bought and sold online and stored on blockchains. The popularity of NFTs has been soaring for months.

The buyer will still get tangible assets to display the digital replica of the original SMS. The proceeds will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency.
