台日友好！多數台人肯定與日關係正向發展 Taiwanese favor close ties with Japan

According to a survey by the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, most people in Taiwan feel a sense of closeness to Japan, and they support closer links with Japan.

The poll showed that 46 percent of Taiwanese people think Japan should be given precedence in terms of forging closer ties. 60 percent of the Taiwanese public also think Japan is a trustworthy country.

In general, 77 percent of Taiwan’s public said they felt a sense of closeness to Japan in 2021, while around 65 percent said they thought Taiwan-Japan relations had improved over the past years.
